Quick Troubleshooting for Teachers

❓ What do I do if the laptop won’t turn on?

➡️ Hold the power button down for 10–15 seconds.
➡️ Plug in the charger and look for the charging light.
➡️ Try another outlet/charger if needed.
➡️ If still no response → Contact IT Department or submit a ticket at lovingschools.neetodesk.com

❓ What do I do if the laptop is frozen?

➡️ Hold the power button until it shuts off (10–15 seconds).
➡️ Wait 5 seconds, press power again.

❓ What do I do if the laptop won’t connect to Wi-Fi?

➡️ Click the Wi-Fi icon in the bottom right.
➡️ Make sure Wi-Fi is ON.
➡️ Select LMSWireless and click Connect.
➡️ Enter the Wi-Fi password if prompted. Contact IT if you need the PW

➡️ Restart if still not working.
➡️ If still no connection → Contact IT Department or submit a ticket

❓ What do I do if the keyboard or trackpad won’t work?

➡️ Look for ⚠️ on the Wi-Fi icon.
➡️ Disconnect & reconnect.
➡️ Restart the laptop.
➡️ If it still doesn’t work → Contact IT Department or submit a ticket

❓ What do I do if there’s no sound?

➡️ Check the 🔊 speaker icon (bottom right of the taskbar).
➡️ Make sure the volume is not muted.
➡️ Verify headphones are fully plugged in (if using).
➡️ If still no sound:

🔵 Check Windows 11 Sound Settings
➡️ Right-click the 🔊 sound icon in the taskbar.
➡️ Select Sound settings.
➡️ Under Output, make sure the correct device is selected
(example: Speakers (Realtek) or Headphones).
➡️ Move the volume slider up to test sound.

➡️ Restart if still not working.
➡️ If the issue continues → Contact IT Department or submit a ticket

❓ What do I do if the laptop is really slow?

➡️ Restart the laptop.
➡️ Close extra Chrome tabs.
➡️ If it keeps happening → Contact IT Department or submit a ticket
